Who we are
INTREPID PEAK ADVENTURES INC. is a family-run company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, on February 15, 2024, with BC Incorporation Number BC1466266. This policy explains how we handle personal information received through intrepidpeak.com. Privacy contact: info@intrepidpeak.com.
Information we collect
When you send a Custom Trip or Team Building enquiry we may receive: name, email, phone, country or company, dates, group size, budget, interests, activity level and any free-text notes you write.
Free-text fields may include sensitive information you choose to share (for example health, mobility or dietary needs). Please share only what is needed to plan your trip.
How we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare travel proposals, organize requested experiences and communicate with you, and to prevent spam and abuse. The current implementation does not send form answers to advertising tools.
Technology providers may process information as necessary to deliver their services. Information may be shared with travel suppliers only when necessary and with appropriate notice, authorization and safeguards.
Access and sensitive information
Only two authorized company representatives have internal access to customer enquiries.
You may voluntarily provide dietary restrictions, allergies, health-related information and accessibility needs. This information should only be requested or used when relevant to planning an experience. Please provide only necessary information.
Parents or legal guardians should submit enquiries involving minors. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children.
Storage and service providers
Replit provides website hosting and application infrastructure. PostgreSQL is used for enquiry data storage. Resend provides transactional email delivery. Microsoft 365 / Outlook is used for company email and enquiry management.
Processing locations, provider agreements and arrangements for any international transfers remain under review. We do not assert specific locations or contractual safeguards that have not been verified.
Spam prevention and rate limiting
To limit abusive submissions, we create keyed hashes of your email address and IP address. These values are used to control submission frequency and are not used for advertising.
Browser preferences and analytics
We save your preferred language in your browser's local storage (intrepid-lang) and your cookie choice (intrepid-consent-v1). Google Analytics 4 is not installed or active. If added in future, it will only load after you consent to the Analytics category.
Replit Analytics and the public feedback widget have been switched off manually in Publishing settings. This takes effect only after republishing and must then be verified on the published site. Until then, we do not claim these scripts have stopped running; the cookie banner does not control their injection. See the Cookie Policy.
Retention
For enquiries that do not result in bookings, the target retention limit is 24 months after the last customer interaction. The planned procedure is a manual review every three months to identify expired enquiries for deletion from PostgreSQL and related Outlook emails, unless a legal retention obligation applies.
This process is NOT automated and has NOT yet been implemented or verified. Records remain stored until deleted; we do not claim that existing data is already being deleted.
Technical logs and backups may have separate retention schedules, which are still being reviewed. No customer bookings or invoices have been issued yet. Future bookings, contracts, invoices and accounting records may have different legally required retention periods.
Your rights
Under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you may request access to and correction of your personal information and withdraw consent on reasonable notice, subject to legal exceptions and limits. Federal PIPEDA and European privacy laws apply only where applicable. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may have additional rights to erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and to complain to your supervisory authority.
Send privacy enquiries and requests for access, correction or deletion to info@intrepidpeak.com. Deletion may be subject to retention obligations; an unrestricted right to deletion does not apply in every case. In BC you may also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.

We may update this policy. The current version will always be on this page.
